The family of a traditional Cape-style home had outgrown the original house plan and wanted a more function layout and living space. They also desired a garage, enlarged workshop and private patio in back of the house. The exterior design concept integrated trim details from the existing house while blending a Charleston-style porch. The interior includes a new master bed and bath wing and a sunken sunroom with ample light. A updated kitchen and re-finishing of the hardwood floors throughout the house make the transition from new to old perfectly seamless.
