This house was remodelled for a young couple in Oakwood. 2SL worked with the Raleigh Historic commission to acquire a certificate of appropriateness for the renovation. The rear shed structure on the back of the house was removed and a addition for a kitchen was added. A set of stairs were also added to make the upstairs area useable space for the owners. Existing plaster walls were left in place, and existing trim was kept and matched in new locations.
