Lina Sibert is lead designer at 2SL Design Build and responsible for overall design development. A native of Beirut, Lebanon, Lina and her husband, John, founded 2SL in 1997. Lina was with Tasai Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) prior to 2SL. She is also on the faculty of Meredith College where she teaches as an adjunct professor. Lina graduated from North Carolina State University and holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.

John Sibert shares design conceptualization responsibilities with his wife Lina, and is a Registered Architect (7197)in the State of North Carolina and a licensed General Contractor (57109). Prior to founding 2SL in 1997, John was with Cline-Davis Associates, Tasai Corporation (Tokyo Japan) and HOK in Washington, DC. John is a graduate of North Carolina State University and holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.

Alan Sibert, John's brother, is responsible for finance and CAD Design. Alan has over thirty years of experience in marketing and sales, including product management, marketing communications, national sales and director level responsibilities. Alan is a graduate of Trinity College (CT) with a B.A. in Graphic Design and holds an MBA in finance and marketing from Boston College. Alan served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer.

David has had over 21 years experience managing both commercial and residential projects. He leads our construction team and oversees client budgets, construction schedules, subcontractors and material suppliers. He is also responsible for coordinating our project managers and design coordinator.

Erik is lead project manager and an accomplished master carpenter with over 15 years experience. He oversees contractors in the field and is responsible for quality control, finish carpentry and specialized cabinetry and built-ins. Erik is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army.

Aurelio is a field supervisor responsible for aiding the project managers in the field. He joined the 2SL team in 2008. Prior to working at 2SL, he has worked as a teacher and handyman. Carpentry has been a lifelong hobby for Aurelio. Upon returning to the US after a tour with the army in Germany, he decided to translate into his hobby into a career.

Laura is 2SL's office manager and oversees business operations, permit applications, receivables, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Laura is a graduate of Smith College with a degree in Neuroscience.

Schary is responsible for job cost accounting, data entry, and payables. She is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
