The clients wanted a new house built on a lot inherited from their family. A large stone chimney was saved during demolition and incorporated into the outdoor patio. A double height living room space became the heart of the new house. Salvaged stained glass doors and windows were integrated into the design. The owner, a doctor who often worked the night shift, requested a master bedroom with little daylight to preserve his sleep.
