The owners of this residence requested a design for a pool house and pool that would create an inviting outdoor environment. 2SL’s design solution places the pool house at the north side of the yard, adjacent to the main house, creating a large outdoor room. A series of decks and terraces step down from the house to the pool, following the slope of the site. The pool has an invisible lip, creating the illusion of falling water.

A trellis extends along the length of the pool house, creating a transition to the pool. The pool house, while sharing functions as a golf/practice shed, compliments the main house while incorporating crafted details and rich materials.
